October 2009 at Frodsham

The last Social Event was held on 9/10 October 2009 at Frodsham, near Chester, where a dinner was attended by 28 guests at The Old Hall Hotel.
This was a very enjoyable occasion with good food and excellent service.  The number of people attending was higher than in 2008, which reflected the popularity that this event now enjoys.   On the Saturday morning, 20 of the guests went to Catton Hall to participate in Quad Trekking, Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery.  Everyone who participated found the occasion to be memorable and those who endured the 9 mile quad trekking course finished with smiles that underlined this to have been the best Social Event for many years.   All charges at the hotel and Catton Hall were met by the Association.
