Today the EIA held their annual training event at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel, where Officials of the Association shared some of their knowledge and experience with EIA Members. Member representatives were younger employees, or employees who, whilst knowledgeable in their own Company’s products or services, were looking to learn more about the overall Power Generation technology, Transmission systems and the Bushings used to protect equipment, personnel and nature from the extremely high voltages used.
Presentations used the academic laws and theory as the background to explaining systems in a more practical and interesting way, catering for all levels of experience amongst the delegates.
The EIA Board were pleased to receive the positive feedback that delegates found the training day held both interesting and beneficial.
