The 2019 social event was held in at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis. Llanberis, originally founded on the slate quarrying, industry is now very much the base for walkers enjoying the Snowdonia National Park.
Members and their partners were invited to dinner and enjoyed guest speaker John Sherlock, the head custodian of Carnarfon castle who covered its place in history since the 12 century.
After a much needed nights sleep, the party enjoyed a journey up Snowdon on the Mountain Railway, despite the weather at the top being poor and the café and summit being rather crammed.
