The EIA held their September meeting at the iconic venue Jodrell Bank at Macclesfield. Not surprisingly given the attraction of the opportunity to see the Lovell Telescope close at hand. Its diameter of 250 ft (76 m) makes it the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world.

Bringing members together in such an inspiring setting gave us the chance to reflect on the past year, share valuable updates, and explore the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
Discussions covered key areas of growth, collaboration across the sector, and how we can continue to strengthen the work of the Association for the benefit of all our members.
After a buffet lunch at the observatory facility, members watched a video and visited the Jodrell Bank Museum.
