Situation in Pott Shrigley, on the western edge of the Peak District, this Spa Hotel with golf course proved to be another excellent venue for the EIA annual Social Event. The EIA provided accommodation following the meal, but the evening will be best remembered for our guest speaker, Dr Lynn Willies, from the Peak District Mining Museum, who spoke informatively about the history of lead mining in the area!
