The 2019 social event was held in at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis. Llanberis, originally founded on the slate quarrying, industry is now very much the base for walkers enjoying the Snowdonia National Park.

Members and their partners were invited to dinner and enjoyed guest speaker John Sherlock, the head custodian of Carnarfon castle who covered its place in history since the 12 century.

After a much needed nights sleep, the party enjoyed  a journey up Snowdon on the Mountain Railway, despite the weather at the top being poor and the café and summit being rather crammed.

General Meeting September 2019

The second general meeting of 2019 was held and it was afloat for the first time.
Members boarded the River King Cruiser on the river Ouse for the meeting followed by lunch and a narrated sightseeing cruise.
It is clear however that the main goal of the meeting was met with the secretary receiving very positive feedback that the environment provided the ideal setting for networking
